It’s not difficult to manage when you are inserting 1-2 images in your WordPress post or page but if you insert more images (let’s say 10-15) in one post using upload media feature, you will find it annoying to visit each image in the pop-up and un-check the link to media file.

In case if you leave the setting unchanged and insert the images, there will be anchor tag inserted around the image which will open a blank image on next page which is pretty undesirable.

To override the default insert media link and change it to no link in WordPress would save lots of time. You can simply upload this plugin and activate it to make the default settings to none instead of media.
