WordPress 3.8.2 is now available to download now. It is a security release for the old versions of WordPress which can be downloaded from WordPress.org or you can explore the Dashboard >> Updates area to get the update installed automatically.
This version of update fixes a loophole that can lead a hacker to intrude into your site using authentication cookies.
The update also fixes an issue where a user with contributor role can publish posts improperly.
