In case you want to be able to use FTP on XAMPP for your small office or network you first need to assign a static IP to that computer where XAMPP is running and then access the sites/projects/individual directories through standard url like http://192.168.x.x/path which resovles to HTDOCS directory of the computer running XAMPP.
